Last Updated: 15 April 2025  ·  Effective: 15 April 2025

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in a programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or enrol.

Enrolment in a programme is open to individuals aged 18 and above. By enrolling, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under Thai law.

3. Service Description

Chatri Academy offers structured financial education programmes designed for adults aged 40 and above. Our programmes are educational in nature and do not constitute regulated financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or tax advice.

Programmes are delivered via live online video sessions and, for the advanced academy, through in-person gatherings in Chiang Mai. Programme content, duration, and format are described on our website and confirmed in your enrolment documentation.

We make reasonable efforts to deliver programmes as described but reserve the right to make minor adjustments to content, scheduling, or delivery format where circumstances require, with reasonable notice to enrolled learners.

4. Educational Nature of Programmes

Our programmes are designed to build financial literacy and understanding. They are not a substitute for personalised regulated financial advice. Nothing taught in our programmes should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product or security.

Learners are solely responsible for any financial decisions they make following or during a programme. Chatri Academy, its faculty, and its staff accept no liability for financial decisions made by learners.

5. Enrolment and Confirmation

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full programme payment and a written enrolment confirmation from Chatri Academy. All prospective learners are expected to complete a pre-enrolment consultation before their place is confirmed.

We reserve the right to decline an enrolment if we reasonably determine the programme is not a suitable fit for the prospective learner's background or goals, and will refund any payment received in such cases.

6. Payment Terms

Programme fees are as follows (inclusive of all described materials and sessions):

Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of a programme unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (THB).

Refund Policy

7. User Responsibilities

Learners agree to:

8. Intellectual Property

All programme materials, including written materials, printed binders, templates, and recorded sessions, are the intellectual property of Chatri Academy. Learners are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for their personal financial planning purposes only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of materials is not permitted without prior written consent.

9. Confidentiality

Chatri Academy and its faculty treat all personal financial information shared by learners during programmes as confidential. Faculty members are bound by confidentiality obligations. Cohort members are asked to agree to reciprocal confidentiality before programmes begin.

10. Disclaimers

Our programmes are provided for educational purposes. We make no representation that completing a programme will result in any specific financial outcome. All financial situations differ, and the educational content we provide may not be appropriate for every learner's circumstances.

The website is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Chatri Academy's liability to any learner shall not exceed the programme fee paid by that learner. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from decisions made based on programme content.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to remove a learner from a programme without refund if their conduct is disruptive, if they breach confidentiality obligations, or if they use programme materials in an unauthorised manner. Learners may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 6.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from them shall first be subject to informal resolution through direct communication. If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions. The current version will always be available at this address. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled learners. Continued enrolment following a material change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
